~May 6, 2011~Compared to last week, grain and soybeans closed lower. The markets posted losses most of the week with the most declines noted on Thursday on negative news. Crude oil was down sharply falling below 100.00 a barrel, precious metals also had a sell off as gold was down over 50.00 an ounce with the dollar higher finding renewed support.
